Using Model Based Digital Delivery in Design & Construction

This two-hour virtual workshop provided insights on the practical application of BIM for infrastructure and model-based, digital delivery related to the design and construction of transportation projects. It was an excellent, informative webinar where we heard from several state departments of transportation (DOT) representatives who provided updates on current national and state initiatives. In addition to providing specific project examples, the webinar included a panel discussion (including contractors) on the challenges and opportunities using model-based digital delivery for use in construction.

Moving Your Agency to Digital Delivery

This second webinar focused on the practical application of BIM for infrastructure and model based digital delivery related to the design and construction of transportation projects. The agenda included an introductory plenary session on national BIM perspectives in Transportation followed by presentations on establishing the business case for open standards and the use of BIM for road and bridge design and construction.  The webinar also includes a cross-industry panel discussion based upon experiences with several successful pilot projects.
